After a lot of testing, we recently started building our ethereum GPU mining farm. These are the first rigs we have been building up.

  1. What I wonder: is PCI-E 2.0 1x not limiting the graphiccards performance? USB3.0 netto bandwidth is not even delivering the max bandwith available with PCI-E 2.0 1x.
Are there any PCI-E 3.0 1x to 16x USB. 3.1 risers? USB 3.1 would be able to deliver enough bandwidth for PCI-E 3.0 1x.
Did you test the influence of the available PCI-E bandwith to the hashing performance?
